Step Motors

Our high-performance, brushless, maintenance-free step motors provide very precise, extremely cost-effective motion control. These 2 phase step motors inherently move in small, very precise, 1.8° increments (200/revolution). This stepping action is simple to control and does not require complicated, expensive feedback devices.

Servo Motors


Danaher Motion's brushless servomotors are designed to operate over a broad range of speeds and have the advantage of reduced maintenance since there are no brushes or commutators. DC brushless motors offer superior performance with our highest torque/ inertia ratio and high speed capability of up to 8,000 rpm for standard designs (up to 70,000 rpm for special designs).

PMDC Motors

Pacific Scientific offers over 40 standard PMDC SCR rated, low voltage, wash down duty and explosion proof models from 1/8 to 3 HP (93 to 2240 W). Standard motors are UL Recognized or Listed. Most standard models are also CSA Certified.
Pacific Scientific's PMDC motors can also be custom designed for your application. We've built thousands of custom designs and can build custom motors to meet your specific application requirements.
